• Its role in the War of 1812 and the French and Indian War
• Its position as the last stop on the Underground Railroad for escaping slaves seeking freedom in nearby Canada.

Our history is interpreted through Old Fort Niagara and through our historical museums and also in more unconventional methods such as our Haunted History Ghost Walks and Marble Orchard Cemetery “Plots”.
